Stripes, oh lovely stripes! I’m going crazy over this pattern right now – who knows why. So this is a dress, a mini (and when I say mini, I mean it literally is like 6 fingers above my knee), form fitting (so bodycon if you will), t-shirt dress from Jet. I have totally forgotten how much it was, but I remember that it was under R150. The material is very stretchy so it hugs you in all the right places (if you got booty, then show it mama!). The only issue I have with this dress is that the sizing was a bit strange. A size 10 looked too big on me, especially for the material that was used; An 8 did not give me the right fit as well because it was gapping around my back, but a 6 was fine – just short. And if any of you saw me, I am DEFINITLY not a size 6.
The shoes I purchased last summer from Ackerman’s at R80. These are my pride and joy! They are comfy, durable and so damn chic. Love ‘em.
The bag was an old purchase from a designer store in Sandton. They were clearing out so everything was at 75% off – lucky me! That said, it still cost me R350. Ya.
So, lovelies, if you’re in to the stripes as much as I am, please explore with colour? Do yourself that favour and add bold patterns with simple lines of colour. I am guilty of wearing black and white with black and white accessories or jewellery – I am now reformed!
See you in my next post!
